There are three general groups of people when it comes to the Twilight series.
1. People who loooooove it
2. People who absolutely loathe it
3. And people who enjoy it for the guilty pleasure it is but won't be buying Team Edward/Team Jacob shirts any time soon.
I'm firmly ensconced in the third group. I wanted to go to the movie as a fun girls night out more than I actually enjoy the movies. And I did last night (and boy am I tired today).
So as any self-respecting member of the female race/blogosphere I have to put in my two cents:
Kristen Stewart makes me feel nauseated (as did her depression scene -I actually had to look away from the screen I was getting so sick/dizzy from the camera work).
WAY better cinematography than the first movie
Could they have made Edward any uglier in Italy? I really don't think so. How are you supposed to root for him after something like that?
And I'm too old for this but OH MY GOSH JACOB'S ABS!
And lastly, go read this parody because it's just so funny. Even if you haven't seen the movie but have read the books-I think you'll appreciate it.

Oh I wish I could have gone with you guys, I have to agree with you on the abs thing, holy cow! I thought this one was much better than the last!
I'm very much in group #3, too! BUT, I really have no desire, at all, to see any of the movies :) I like the Edward, Bella & Jacob in my head!! ... I do rather enjoy all the funny parodies I've seen though, there are some pretty good spoofers out there!
I agree with just about all your examples except I AM a Twilight lover. But yes, Edward is supposed to look despondent and ready to die. But man, hard to compare his skinny pasty nekkidness to Jacob's...
So I don't think I'm quite in group 2...I mean, loathing is a pretty strong category. I'm more in the "it's kind of ridiculous how over the top people are about this and I didn't like the books enough to read the third one, but I won't say I loathe it" category. But I'm glad you had fun. :)
Hahahaha! I feel the exact same way! Edward looked terrible. Bella drives me crazy. (I can't stand her studdering or her running...) And Jacobs ab's were one reason I would see it again... once he got rid of the ugly wig I almost joined team Jacob and hung a picture of him on my ceiling over my bed.. :)
