It's day 1 of my pre-Thanksgiving cleaning blitz. I'm starting with the stuff that won't get dirty as fast (dusting, wiping down bedrooms/stairwells, dejunking bedrooms, etc.) Unfortunately those are also the things that leave no discernible trace of me doing anything. I pick up as I go but the actual "deep" cleaning shows nothing. Tomorrow is the kitchen and all three bathrooms so I'll feel better after those.
P.S. With three pairs of grubby little hands stairwells can get really, really dirty.

Isn't it AMAZING how dirty stairwells get!!!? I never would have thought of that as a grime-catching spot. That has become one of my kids' chores, I just give them each a damp rag to wash the walls once a week! Then I only have to do a check every few months, it's great!!
