Samantha: Okay, that sounds good....next time can we have pizza?

- She calls our double stroller the "Devil" stroller. I say "Samantha-Double stroller" and then she goes "I KNOW DEVIL STROLLER". So funny

Tommy Antics
- He kept saying "Oh dang it" and so we told him he was going to have to think of something else to say. Not missing a beat he said 'Oh crap!"
- The night before his tonsillectomy he said "After my surgery...will I be a racecar?"
- On my birthday I asked him how old I was. He looked at me quizzically and said "Big"
- We were at a Halloween store and there were some very scary babies (lawn decorations that were green and dreadful looking). Tommy looked at them and said "baby, sad"

An Ode to Hot Tomily
A History
We finally received a comment on our seemingly strange and maybe lame name. But it's not...it's the coolest name ever. You see, Hot Tomily is named after a fish, named after us. When we got married my sister, Katie, gave us a fish with the proclamation that "You're not a family without a kid or a pet" She named it Hot Tomily (a play on both our names and the candy hot tamales). Hot Tomily was a beta fish that died about a month after we got him from some dreaded disease....or because he was a fish. He was so important to us that we never took a picture of him. So I placed a picture of another fish that it took me 3 seconds to find on google in his place. And thus he lives on in our hearts.

Great job, Emily! I miss you so much! I loved that I was a part of so many of your memories this year. What a crazy year it has been!!! I hope this coming year is full of more wonderful memories and happy times. We love you guys!
Wow! What a show! I loved all the pictures! What a cute idea!
I loved your slideshow! It made me a little sad because I saw all of the fun stuff I missed out because I was at home feeling sorry for myself for being alone. It's a shame we just started being friends right before you moved. But now we can be 'Blog Buddies.'
PS I didn't just say 'Blog Buddies!' I'm such a dork!
That was a great slideshow, Emily and Tom! I really felt like I was there...OK, sometimes I was, but even in the parts where I wasn't.
